This charming and cozy 71" by 71" finished quilt is a natural to use with strips. Material requirements: 50 2 1/2" strips WOF (width of fabric selvage to selvage) sorted into groups as follows: group A- 10 strips, group B- 14 strips, group c- 12 strips, group D- 12 strips, group E (zinger for center)- 2 strips; Borders 1/2 yard for the inner border, 1 1/4 yard for outer border; Backing 5 yards; Binding 3/4 yard. If you don't have strips yet, and would like to use yardage off the bolt you can get 3 strips WOF from a 1/4 yard cut.
