Loading... Please wait...All of our fabric is priced per 1/2 yard, because our shopping cart only accepts whole numbers. It will not accept fractions or decimals. So, we have priced our fabrics by the half-yard, so that our customers can order smaller amounts. We will cut all orders in one continuous piece. If you order a quantity of 1 you will get 1/2 yard, 2 = 1 yard, 3 = 1 1/2 yards, 4 = 2 yards, 5 = 2 1/2 yards, 6 = 3 yards, 7 = 3 1/2 yards, 8 = 4 yards, 9 = 4 1/2 yards, 10 = 5 yards, and so on. Please email me at sandyquilts@besewhappy.com if you need help calculating your order.
2. Is the fabric that I want really in stock? Our website will list the quantity that is available on each item. The current stock is correct about 99% of the time. However, sometimes bolts run short, bolts of fabric are split in the middle, etc., and the last yard or so may run short. We will not ship your order until we contact you if we cannot ship your order exactly as you placed it.
3. What happens if you don't have what I ordered in stock? We will email you or call you to see how you would like to proceed if something that you ordered is not in stock or is short of the amount you ordered. We always give you the option of backordering the fabric (if re-orderable), or substituting the fabric of your choice or cancelling. We never ship your order unless it is EXACTLY as you placed it. Please add sandyquilts@besewhappy.com to your accepted email list, so that your email provider will not filter our communications with you as spam.
4. I didn't receive an order confirmation. Did you receive my order?First, please check your spam email folder. We send out a lot of emails every day and we are frequently filtered as spam. If it's not there, please email me at sandyquilts@besewhappy.com and I will be glad to confirm your order for you.
5. How much do you charge for shipping? Please visit our Shipping & Policies page for details on shipping charges.
6. What is a fat quarter?A fat quarter is a half yard of fabric which is cut in half. So, instead of receiving 1/4 yard of fabric, which measures 9" x 44", you will receive a "fat" quarter yard of fabric, which measures 18" x 22". It is a size which is a lot more useful for lots of sewing projects! I made Christmas stockings from fat quarters one year! I have even made a small handbag from fat quarters!
