Hello All!
It's the last day of
August and I think our heat wave is finally over! I
find myself longing for the cool fall
weather that is just around the corner so
that I can dig in to some of our new juvenile fabrics and
create some fabulous new quilts for my favorite little
ones. O.K., I confess, the sock monkey quilt is just for
me!

The New Chick on the Block
If you love jungle
animals, be sure to see Zipadee Zoo by The
New Chick on the Block for Lyndhurst Studios, a division of
Northcott Fabrics. This wonderfully charming collection
features jungle animals - elephants, alligators, peacocks,
turtles, and snakes, just to name a few! The colors are
very modern and just stunning. The coordinating prints
are also just spectacular! There is a stripe which
reminds me of a tropical orchid and a kaleidoscope print made
of turtles. There are two colorways - pink and blue - so it is
simple to choose the perfect fabrics for that little someone's
special new quilt. We have the entire collection of yardage,
plus a blue quilt kit and a pink quilt kit, plus fat quarter

Rescue

I must admit, when I saw the new quilting fabric
collection from Clothworks Textiles called To the Rescue by Jill
Webster, I just couldn't resist! Being the mom
of two boys, I just had to own these charming fabrics,
featuring fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, police
helicopters and police motorcycles. There is even a
paramedics truck! You will also find fireman hats and
hoses, police badges and handcuffs and even a dalmation or
two. The coordinates, in beautiful primary colors, round
out this boyish collection nicely. Of course, if you
know an aspiring firewoman or policewoman,
you'll love this collection too! We have a panel with
large rescue vehicles, plus yardage of the entire collection,
plus fat quarter bundles and

Round
by Erin Michael
And, finally, in memory of my dearly departed, much
loved Sock Monkey of my childhood, we have the entire
collection of Monkey 'N Round by Erin
Michael for Moda Fabrics. Those adorable sock
monkeys are back and this time they have brought all of their
friends! You will find them playing jacks, scooting on a
scooter, jumping on a pogo stick and just having fun. This
collection is sure to initiate some "monkey business" in all
of us! The new color palette includes baby blue, powder
pink, banana yellow, mint green and a pretty red just to jazz
it up a bit. We have the entire collection of cotton
prints, plus some coordinating wovens and corduroys. There are
